Career Summary
Mr. Cushing serves as Managing Director of the Houston Investment Sales team for JLL's retail platform. In this
role, George leads the team's overall strategic planning, business development efforts, growth and sales
initiatives, and oversees the production of all marketing and sales strategies. Bringing more than 30 years of real
estate experience to JLL, George's expertise lies in exclusive seller representation for the disposition of retail
investment properties. George has successfully completed more than $4 billion of transactions and is an annual
recipient of the Capital Markets Top Achiever distinction within JLL.
Prior to joining JLL, George was Senior Vice President at Grubb & Ellis where he was a six-time qualifier for the
National Circle of Excellence, served as a member of Grubb & Ellis' National Brokerage Leadership Board, and
was a member of the President's Council. George was the recipient of the Houston Business Journal Heavy
Hitters MVP Award for three consecutive years, one of ten citywide honorees selected for this distinction
annually.
